Phoenix Film Phoenix Film is one of Germany’s top producers of serial family entertainment. Danni Lowinski (Sat 1) is the latest example of a successful and award winning prime time Phoenix Film series. It is also the first German series that has been picked up by a US major network, CBS.
 
The Berlin production company, founded in 1979 and headed by managing partner Markus Brunnemann, has a lasting influence on the present German TV landscape with strong program brands driving viewer loyalty. Among various examples for this accomplishment are classics like Jacob und Adele, Ein Heim für Tiere (both ZDF), Dr. Stefan Frank (RTL Television) or OP ruft Dr. Bruckner (RTL Television), Unser Charly and Hallo Robbie! (both ZDF) as well as the series Edel & Starck (Sat 1), Doktor Martin and Flemming (both ZDF).
