With approximately 160 employees, the Headquarter’s role is to provide strategic direction and financial controls while actively managing the Group’s portfolio of holdings. Headquarter employees are in regular contact with their colleagues at the profit centres to share experience and ideas, update each other on the opportunities, challenges and development plans at their businesses, and identify potential for cooperation.

Consolidation & Accounting
Ensures the continuous availability of accurate accounting information for the Group and its profit centres and defines consistent consolidation standards to be used throughout the Group
Controlling & Investments
Collects and analyses financial and other information from the Profit Centres for management reporting; prepares forecasts, the annual budget, and investment proposals; reviews the quarterly closing statements and investment proposals of our Profit Centres; and implements RTL Group's investment policy.
Corporate Communications & Marketing
Builds and develop public awareness and reputation of RTL Group
Corporate Human Resources
Ensures that the Group attracts, develops and retains the best managerial talent in the media business.
Corporate IT
Provides IT expertise and services to our corporate departments and profit centres.
Internal Audit
Provides an independent review of business procedures and processes throughout the Group and follows up on the implementation of management recommendations.
Investor Relations
Builds and expands public awareness of RTL Group, in particular within the financial community; cultivates relations across the full range of financial institutions, including rating agencies, investment banks, hedge funds and media analysts on both the buy and sell side
Legal
Makes sure RTL Group achieves its objectives with minimum legal risk.
Regional Operations & Development
Helps our profit centres increase their operational efficiency; expands RTL Group's portfolio into new territories, assists in knowledge transfer and implementation of best practice, manages shareholder relationships and challenges local management on strategic direction.
Strategy & Business Synergies
Supports RTL Group's top management in defining the Group’s strategic direction.
Tax
Identifies and takes actions to minimize RTL Group's tax exposure.
Treasury
Enhances the Group's long-term value by optimising its financial resources while ensuring the lowest possible cost and acceptable risk; manages and reduces financial risk by supporting the Group's business operations and advising subsidiaries on financial matters such as borrowing and foreign exchange.
